Acceptable use policy

What everyone who uses Goatted Guru agrees not to do. Last updated 8 October 2026.

Goatted Guru is a place where children learn. This policy sets out what everyone who uses it (students, parents, tutors and schools) agrees not to do. It forms part of our terms and conditions.

You must not, and must not let anyone else

• use Goatted Guru to break the law, or to store, send, create or record material you have no right to;
• post, say, create or share anything that is abusive, hateful, sexual, violent, or otherwise unsuitable for children, in a class, a course you make, a question, a name or anywhere else;
• bully, harass, threaten or deceive another person, or pretend to be someone you are not;
• ask a child for personal contact details, or try to move a conversation with a child away from Goatted Guru, unless you are that child’s parent or guardian;
• record a class or another person without the consent this service asks for, or share a recording outside the people it was made for;
• try to reach another person’s account or data, probe or test our security without our written agreement, or overload or disrupt the service;
• share your sign-in, or let more than one person use one account;
• copy, download in bulk, resell, sublicense or provide the lessons or the service to third parties without an agreement with us;
• reverse-engineer the service except as the law expressly allows;
• use automated tools to collect content from the service, or to answer quizzes and games for you;
• send spam or unsolicited bulk messages through any part of the service.

Courses you make

A course you make is yours, and you are responsible for it. Make courses only from material you have the right to use. A course you contribute to everyone is reviewed before it is shown, and we may decline it or take it down.

Tutors

A tutor teaches the class they were engaged to teach, treats every student with respect, keeps what they learn about students to themselves, and never asks a student or parent to pay outside Goatted Guru for a class arranged through it.

What happens if this policy is broken

We may remove the material, suspend or close the account, and where the law requires or a child may be at risk, tell the authorities. Fees paid by an account closed for a serious breach are not refunded.

Report a problem. If you see something on Goatted Guru that breaks this policy, write to it@ebita.ai with "Report" in the subject. We read every report.
